They arrived on time and were able to fix my washer as I requested. I just wasn't expecting such a high bill compared to past reviews. A wire was damaged so they spent an hour figuring it out and replacing it. Overall - they did fine and fixed the issue but cost me $200 for them to replace a wire.

Prices could be better! Sears quoted half theirs. However very polite on the phone. I have an LG front loading washer that I repaired myself. However I was not able to get the Front Panel Door Boot Clamp back (LG Part 2W20017E) in place as it needs a specialty clamp stretcher (LG Part 383EER4001A) to fit it. I have the clamp, they have the clamp stretcher. No parts needed. Just a technician with the right tool to install. The tool costs $100 and I thought maybe I'll call around to a few repair shops and see if anyone wants to do a quick 5 minute job here in Edmonton. $120 (for travel, time, and parts (what parts?!) apparently for 5 minutes of work (not including GST). No thanks, I'll buy the tool!

We have called J & M multiple times. Never had any issue in the past. Poor experience at the recent service request. Can't trust them any more and Definitely would not use their services again !

These guys are obviously going on the 'good word of mouth' model of building a business. They just finished a major repair on a dryer and the bill was almost too little - parts at cost and less time charged then spent on the repair. I will definitely be using them in the future.

This morning, two gentlemen from J&M fixed my dishwasher. They were very quick (15minutes), honest about the issue (soap and scum build-up which caused a "leak" when moisture wasn't properly venting), and very courteous and professional. My only complaint is the $126 bill for the service call and labour. I understand the techs have bills of their own to pay, but I feel the charge was exorbitant given there were no broken parts and the service call was of a limited time. Otherwise, I would call them again.
