This store is a complete rip off. I honestly don't understand why it still exist or how it survives. Please don't take your instruments here for repair because they neglect their customers. The prices are double of what you'd find from Guitar Center or online. The items on display are literally collecting dust because nobody buys anything. My aunt took my nephew here for saxophone lessons. For a whole month, all they taught him was was which notes are located on different positions on the staff.

All the staff members were very friendly,  and helpful.  Ms. Erm was especially a god send. She really helped make it possible for my daughter to rent a violin.  Thank you sooo much!

Do not go here.  They wanted to charge 57.00 for cello strings that cost $10 online.  They told us that they would love for us to show them where there were cheaper cello strings.  They also said that normally they charge $114 dollars and they discounted it 40%.  We looked online and saw that the same cello strings were only $10.  They somehow couldn't think of a cheaper string set that. $57! And that was discounted!  If you want to get ripped off, then this is the place to go!

I called in advance and asked if they had specific items I needed that night, they said they did. When I got there they didn't have anything I asked about in advance. The employees are uneducated about musical instruments and accessories. Go to another music store.

I am SOOO happy I found this store!  My family has lived in Yucaipa for 12 years, and we always used to go to another store in downtown Redlands for our music supplies when my sons were in band.  Well, that store closed a couple years ago, and then we found Nick Rail Music!  This store is bigger, cleaner, has better selection, better prices, and the employees are really really nice!  We went in a few days ago because my 11 year old daughter wants to learn saxophone.  Both Phillip and Chris were soooo helpful in explaining everything to us.  We're still trying to decide if my daughter wants to do band or soccer, but if she goes with band, we are definitely going to go back to Nick Rail Music!  I highly recommend this store!!!
