J R Automobile is a full service automotive repair shop located in Junction City, Ks. We strive to provide excellent auto repair services. We are local and veteran owned and operated. J R service and repair all makes and models. J R Automotive repair services offered include: Engine repair and replacement, Transmission repair, Brake repair, Tires retail including mounting balancing and alignment, Shocks & Stuts replaced, Complete Tune-ups and Oil & Lube.

I have never been so mistreated by a company before in my whole life. First, they called me up angry because they weren’t able to get to our battery in the trunk of our vehicle. So we told them that we would just come get our car.  When we get there they said the car was fine that they were able to jump the vehicle and got it fix. We paid our bill and left. We go a few blocks down the road and our car dies. We call them back up upset that they didn’t fix our car and wanting a tow. We also asked for a refund till they fixed the car.  They started calling my husband fu***** stupid and started cussing at him. I take the phone from my husband and asked to speak to the manager. The manager gets on the phone and also being rude stating the battery is just wrong. I said if the battery is wrong why didn’t you fix it. I wanted to know what we pay for to get fix. I asked for a refund again.  We asked for the name of the person who worked on our vehicle to ask him specifically what he did to our car. The manager stated that they could not give us the name and banned us from returning to their place.

These guys are the best in town.  Their prices are very, very reasonable.  And their staff is very professional.  Quality of work is top notch.  I would recommend to anyone.

I came to this place because my car was shaking really badly. I thought I just needed a balance or an alignment. The mechanic brought me one of my tires to show me how damaged it was. He said it was dangerous to continue driving on, but he didn't have my correct size tire, but he had a slightly bigger used tire he could put on until I could get somewhere to replace the tire. I asked how much it would be and he said he wouldn't charge me, because he didn't want me to put my two small kids in the car and drive it on that tire. They charged me only the minimum charge for a half hour of labor. I was very impressed with their concern and they seemed to care more about my and my children's safety than making money. I will recommend this place to anyone.

This place is great. I worked with Chad and he's a knowledgeable guy who shoots straight with you on time for repairs and price estimates. Work on my truck was done quickly and professionally. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing vehicle work.
