Great little pub in Arlington. Love that old pub feel. Menu was pretty good and food was quite satisfying for pub food. I opted for a pita wrap with black bean burger meat in it. It was excellent! Draft list is pretty standard but was pleased with the option of Bass, a favorite at an English pub styled place. As well as a few decent local craft options. We had my infant daughter and they were accommodating. Excellent experience.

I haven't been to J.R. Bentley's in a long while and decided to stop in for lunch with my brother. 
The waitress was great and the place seemed cozy. I always try burgers in places ive never had them before and the menu had a few to choose from...I choose the Bentley cheese burger cooked medium with all the fixings and a side of seasoned fries.
The burger was a HUGE let down.
It was bland, dry and had a burnt charcoal taste with every bite... 
VERY burnt taste... 
I put All the Mayo and Mustard and fixing supplied with my plate to try and cover up the taste, but nothing worked... My unsweetened ice tea helped out a lot. 
Not sure I want to waste more money on what the college kids named "best burger in town" ..

my manager use to work and since the remodel has been done I love this place. great beer good traditional environment for a bar. But on the downside the last I was there our waiter/helper didn't know much about the happy hours going on weekly and had to ask someone else to remind her. smh nonetheless I love the Bentley burger their.

Been going here since I was a student at UTA and every time I'm in town I always pay this place a visit. A perfect spot for grabbing drinks and dinner with your friends. The atmosphere and friendly staff are what keeps us all coming back. Love this place!

Nice chill place, especially for college students.
The house liquors are pretty cheap, even on weekends. The food is quiet good too. The only thing not so good about this place is the bartenders. While some of them are polite and easy to talk to, a couple of them are pretty rude at times. I was even charged for extra drinks on one of my visits. Also, they always add the service charge or the gratuity to the bill, irrespective of the total bill or the size of the group. Many of my friends and I have ended up adding sizeable tips without realizing that they had already added 15-18% to the total bill price.
