My a/c was freezing up even after I cleaned the coils, so I did some research and called J R Mechanical Services.  Don't be put off that he works out of his home.  Joe answered the phone himself asked me a few questions and said he would come out today around 5:30.  He was running a little late but kept me informed by text (which has never happened with other repair people).  Joe was really great and explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost. The final bill did not cause any sticker shock.  He didn't try to upcharge me for other services.  I thought he was very honest and upfront (just wished he worked on cars too)  Give him a call if you need a/c work.

Next day follow up:   Just got a text from Joe asking if the a/c is working better.  It is working awesome, how is that for customer service?

Ladies and gentlemen the reviews are for real.  This might be the hardest, most devoted, and honest man I've ever met.  I called him Thursday around 6 after my AC went out.  He came out that night after most other local companies had closed.  He got my AC working through the night.  The next day he showed up with the exact and perfect parts needed to fix my unit.  He didn't try to up-sell me.  He fixed what was broken, but before he made sure it was broken and that it needed to be fixed.  Before loading my unit with the absolutely needed 2 pounds of freon, he went into my attic to make sure my air handler was not frozen and throwing off his readings.  Also, he did not charge me for my Thursday emergency fix, and his next day Friday charge was completely reasonable.  Give him a chance, give him time, and you'll be at 74 degrees like I am a few hours after he left.  This man cares about his customers.  I just found him on Google...fortunately.  He's like "Holmes Makes it Right" on DIY.  I'm freezing 05/19/18.

Jose is knowledgeable, meticulous, personalble, and honest. You can always trust that he has done the job with integrity. He is the best air/heat service technician in Waxahachie. He also charges a fair rate.

Jose has been in my house to do a couple of air conditioning and heating jobs. He is a very professional individual who will make you feel at ease, comfortable and he is a professional. He has gone above and  Beyond the call of duty doing jobs on the weekends and evenings. His prices are very affordable and you can rest a sure if you do not need something done to fix your air conditioning or heating he will not charge you for that. Thank you Jose for being an honest and standup guy.

JR Mechanical Services took care of what we needed.  He was quick to take care of replacing our unit, and didn't stop until the job was complete.  He went over all we needed to know about our new unit, as well as recommendations for basic maintenance.  I would recommend him for all A/C services.
