Go here every time I go to the airport.  Excellent fried green beans, all other food really good too. Service quick, efficient and very friendly.  Always enjoy my visits here.

I have often come to Maxi's in order to decompress from the intenses trainings my job sends me to in Albany. But the evening of March 28,2018,  was a horrific experience. I arrived with my two co-workers (promising them a fun evening). We were not greeted or seated. We found an empty table and sat down. Two waitresses were on the floor. There weren't more then 7 tables at this time. They moved tables right next to us and continued to serve the surrounding tables. During this time they did not acknowledge us at all. I attempted to make contact with them via eye contact but they would each time look away. After about 25 minutes I walked to the front and asked the one of the waitresses for 3 menus. She stated " are you seated somewhere. So, I pointed to where myself and two friends were seated and took the three menus back to our  table. We waited another 20 minutes and although the waitresses went to the tables next to us several times they continued to ignore us. Then the DJ began to play a song for a guy to sing which played the N word over and over again. The DJ then made the comment while laughing  with the guy "OMG, who would play that" the entire restaurant was looking at us (as my friends were the only two people of color in the restaurant). One of the tables next to us who had recently been seated actually got up and left 

We will not be returning to this restaurant and will certainly share the word to our co-workers . 

I have never experienced a situation like this before. I can not believe in this day and age people's would behave such a horrendous way towards other people based on the color of their skin!  

I wonder if the reaction to this situation would have been different If the DJ and servers knew that the woman of color they chose to discriminate against are woman with high profile careers!

Friendly late late night Bar and Grill open till 4am food till 3am. Reasonably priced, a bar with character, loud music, dancing and karaoke! Seems to have a lot of regulars so I'd suggest a fun place if your in the mood. Free parking.

My favorite local bar! And my Favorite bartender,  Mary Tizzone! And great DJ Chris! Love the whole staff here,  great food,  and deck, and incredibly happy they are open and serve food so late!!

This place sucks, the waitresses spend more time hanging out with there friends and the "security" then they doing serving and get pissed when you go and order your own drink at the bar because they don't come to the table.  The D.J. for karaoke only plays what he wants and what his friends, don't blame on doing more then one or two songs before he stops taking your request
