My brother-in-law was driving through Oskaloosa helping a friend visit a sick family member in Iowa and stopped at Jaarsma bakery on the way back to Columbia, Mo. and are my wife and I are glad he did.  What awesome pastries!!  He's going back there again soon and we can hardly wait.

I've been coming here for almost 40 years. I never tire of the all the things they make. Rather you want really sweet, a simple pastry or bread for hamburgers it's great

Stopped for coffee and dutch pastries. They were fresh and plentiful. The ladies that waited on us were very friendly and helpful.
