The food isn't exactly the most healthy but there are some healthy options. Regardless it is very tastey and filling. Service is good. Ambiance is good. I visit this restaurant at least once whenever I'm in town.

Excellent, always friendly service and delicious food, (the Boneless Asian Wings, Coconut Shrimp, mind blowing Spanakopita, Sunset Blvd . Burger, and Jack's Burger, and the Fish and Chips with Garlic Oregano Fries are all an absolute must to try! And summarily devour!), with a friendly, casual, (or dressy, they have separate rooms for parties as well) atmosphere. And in the highly unlikely event of a mistake with your dine in, or takeout order, they will fix it with a smile and without question. A really fun and friendly place for friends and family.
The people and the service at Jack's are so awesome that I wrote all of the above before even taking a bite of my meal. Always perfectly cooked to order. A medium rare burger is PERFECTLY medium rare. Never overcooked, a patty as thick as your thumb, so juicy you will need to ask for an extra napkin.
Tonight there was a rare mistake made with my order and when I called in I was immediately redirected to a friendly, helpful manager, (Renee :) ), who apologized profusely, and without question asked if it would be okay if she had the kitchen fast track me a (complete with side dish), entirely new meal. When I arrived mere minutes later, the lovely hosts and manager, (Nicole, Sophia, and Renee), were so sweet, (they treated me as if I was their first and most important concern, and said nothing of my grungy, cleaning the house clothes, but complimented my shoes! Nothing of the kerchief in my hair, but instead told me I had beautiful eyes) and instantly apologetic that my meal was not yet ready, (it had only been 7 or 8 minutes since I called), AND in the 60 seconds or so I had to wait they offered me drinks, bread, and dessert. They could not have been more helpful. 
If you want to go out for a fun and relaxing breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, dessert, whatever, in a welcoming and friendly environment with a varied and delicious menu, AND get excellent service with a smile, Jack's is the place to go. It's kitty corner to the Crescent Theater, (perfect for dinner and a show), and centered in the middle of Crescent Plaza, a sweet little shopping area, (perfect for an after Sunday brunch stroll), with valet parking and a 5 story parking garage a block away so you never have to stress over parking.
I could keep going, but I have a Jack's burger that is calling my name ;)
*As if they needed another reason to receive a 5 star rating, they also have outdoor seating that is dog friendly! :)

Servers were attentive and friendly.. Happy hour had good selections and prices for food and drinks

Found parking right away. Only a short wait for a table on a rather busy evening which is why it's getting 2 stars.  From there the night flopped. Ordered French dressing with my salad and received ranch. By the time the server appeared again, our main courses arrived. Chicken I ordered was greasy, tasteless, and cold. My cousin's meal wasn't much better. The bread and butter was the best part of the meal. The worst of all was being seated in a side room with a constant blow heater on top of my head the entire time we were there. Server disappeared so could not return the dish. Server did return however to try and talk us into dessert; that was a negative. All we wanted was the check and to get out of there before my head melted.  I'll go elsewhere next year for my birthday.

I'm honestly disappointed with this place everytime I've come. And I'm disappointed that I'm always disappointed.

 I know that sounds redundant but for whatever reason I really want to like this place. Probably because it's convenient for me and pretty to look at from the outside - err the inside too. 

But I suppose it makes sense that I never think of it as an option to go out to eat at and so I've been probably 4 times total since it's been open. First, the acoustics must be really unideal - it's way too noisy here. Unsettlingly noisy. Eating outside can make up for that. But the food..... The food continues to leave me unsatisfied. I'm never left here feeling like my meal hit the spot 🙄 and that really sucks as my last visit, for me and my husband was &79+...…. and we don't drink.

 I think I'm done. Hopefully my review amounts to something positive changing but I will continue to choose Lazy Dog or BJs or Nama Sushi or Urban Plates over Jack's.
