Great place.  I don't go in for the pizza style they call deep dish or as I call it pizza soup in a bread bowl.  Fortunately thin crust is as good as any outfits.  I know at least one man's wish was to eat Zachary's one more time before he died.

This is authentic Chicago Pizza pie. I made a trip to Chicago many years ago and fell in love with their pizza pie. When I came home I really craved it. I was getting my hair done at a place on College Ave in Oakland and right downo the street was Zachary's Chicago Pizza. The place was packed so I ordered a pie to go. I ate it in my car because I couldn't wait to get home! It was amazing and took me right back to Chicago. I knew they had a location in San Ramon but had no idea there was one closer I'm Pleasant Hill. The pizza did not disappoint. We also tried their veggie pizza on thin wheat crust. The chunks of tomato in the sauce is so Chicago. Now that I know a Zachary's is this close, I will be coming back for more!

This place has the best pizza in the entire Bay Area. It tastes exactly like real Chicago style pizza. The only place I've found in all the area. Absolutely fantastic.

Pro tip: prepare to wait for a table on weekend nights. This place is super popular.

The deep dish pizza is very popular here. I tried the thin crust pizza (thin relative to the deep dish mind you). The veggie pizza crust is really good and the pizzas overall are quite the craving satisfier - very filling. The caeser salad was very good. Portions are quite big but definitely worth trying (maybe on your cheat day for those on diet)

Deep dish pizzas are amazing. Veggi pizza not so good. The barbeque chicken is the one you should try for sure. Staff is very courteous.
