Worst doctor ever. He's ALL about the money. Every interaction was about wringing more out. Blood tests? He uses tests that allow him to charge as must as he wants and pocket the difference. I found out later that in one test alone he added an extra $130 dollars to his bottom line. That's not the worst. Go elsewhere if you want someone to actually bother to study your results, report them, or tell you the most important things that they reveal. His echocardiogram report was missing information, including a crucial measure called Ejection Fraction, as well as missing his Assessment and his description of my chief complaint. Maybe he didn't even remember what it was. I didn't find out my Ejection Fraction was borderline low and probably the cause of the serious symptoms I was experiencing until A YEAR LATER when another doctor told me it should be been on the report and I repeatedly demanded it. (First Dr. Wolfson answered, "The report is final," then finally relented.) Dr. Wolfson instead used my very expensive visits to recommend his own line of supplements rather than suggest effective measures like putting me on an exercise regime specifically targeted to improving my heart efficiency - which I didn't know was low, because he didn't bother to tell me or put it in his report. He was not only not worth the substantial money he charged. The visit was of NEGATIVE worth, because it wasted a year of healing opportunity that I would have had with a real doctor. One who was actually in it for more than just the money.

I completely trust Dr. Jack Wolfson's knowledge and experiences. Dr. Wolfson cares and completely focused on getting the patient back to health by supporting/helping your body to heal naturally as much as possible - which is completely different from conventional MD's approaches mainly thru (toxic) medications, the more the better. And if you don't comply, you'd get bullied or terrorized. That's why I find Dr. Wolfson such a breath of fresh air as he pays attention to the "overall health" and shows me how to improve it in non-toxic but just as or even more effective ways - instead of focusing just on medicating the symptoms. I know I'm on a completely different path back to health under Dr. Wolfson's competent care. I do highly recommend Dr. Jack. I also find his supplements of very high quality as well.

The staff are great people-friendly and easy to work with. Dr. Wolfson was not hurried, asked plenty of questions and listened to my answers. There was a dialogue between us, not a monologue, as he worked to figure things out and come up with a plan. Also, Dr. Wolfson did a good job of explaining things. I live in Michigan and it was worth the trip!

I have had good experiences working with Dr. Wolfson. He is personable, knowledagable and has worked with me for the past two years in helping me naturally lower the risk of heart disease and to understand the role food and lifestyle play in heart disease prevention. I also have a better understanding the role genes play in my situation. Very helpful and interesting. Only issue I ever had was with one of the receptionists a few months ago. The guy sent me an invoice asking me to update my debit card number. I did thinking he would run the card. Two months later, after I ordered more supplements, he rang me up for almost $200. He did not update the bill when I requested him to do when I gave him my new information. Money is tight as I work on public education and this charge was uncalled for. I called to complain and was told I would have a follow up and never did. My complaint is the lack of communication on the employee's part. He implied that he was going to update my account when I updated my debit card as I requested him to do so. He did not. My bad for not noticing but his bad for not communicating. I'd expect that from a giant corporation but not a small family business. Dr. Wolfson is great though and I'm paying for his expertise, so I over looked the experience with the receptionist. Plus, he other ones have always been extremely helpful and good at communicating. And I've had good experiences dealing with all of his receptionists except for the guy I just mentioned. I still think that was a jerk move on his part. Overall though, if you are looking for someone who will help you explore your heart history, genetic components working against and sound/logical recommendations, then Dr. Wolfson is a good person to meet. I always research his supplement recommendations and food recommendations and my research always shows his suggestions to be relevant and supportive of my situation. His book is a good starting point for natural heart health care.

I first met Dr. Wolfson at a time when I was scared and not feeling well, and on the first visit, I left knowing I was in the best hands. He answered all my questions, calmed my fears, and immediately started me on a plan to feel better, and without the use of pharmaceuticals. I continue to see him now for other reasons - and appreciate his guidance and coaching in my quest for a long life with a healthy mind, body, and gut. His new book "The Paleo Cardiologist" is helping me with this also. He listens closely to everything I say, and provides all notes from the visit, as well as a written plan for me to follow. I also appreciate that tests or supplements I might need, are available right there in his conveniently-located office. His staff is very knowledgeable as well as patient and kind, and they make sure you are comfortable the entire time you are there. Dr. Wolfson rocks!!!
