I recently had to go to The ER for something and I was treated very well.Everybody was nice,helpful and professional. I was at ease the entire time.

Been three times for my little one. During each visit I was seen within a reasonable amount of time and treated kindly.

If you are ready to die go to this hospital they will do their best to kill you. I spent 17 days in ICU and I had to be life flighted to Dothan because I was almost dead. When I got to Dothan I was in septic shock with pressure sores on both heels my back and my head. It took me 1 month in  SEAMC in Dothan and 2 weeks in HealthSouth rehab before my insurance made me go home where I spent another 7 months in home health care getting the pressure sores well and going through speech therapy so I would be able to eat and drink again. I had to have a feeding tube put in in Dothan because they messed up my throat and I was unable to eat or drink anything for 4 months. This place should be shut down! Don't go there. 
I was so sick I was incoherent when I was taken there because it was the closest hospital. I was combative because I wanted to go to Birmingham ( this is what i am told as I don't remember anything till I got to Dothan and they woke me up). They put me in an induced coma to keep me out so I couldn't complain. I left there at 98 lbs. My average weight is 150. If some traveling nurses hadn't come and seen my condition, and called and got Dothan to accept me. I wouldn't have lived another day. Please don't go or take a loved one to this hospital as it is a death trap. The nurses are inconsiderate idiots and do not care if you live or die as long as they don't have to do any actual work or care giving. I can't say enough bad about this place.

After living in Northern Virginia for twelve years and being accustomed to first rate medical service, I have been shocked and infuriated with Jackson hospital.  We had no idea that medical services would be so bad.  The billing administration is incompetent and many of their workers have cavalier attitudes when you are rarely able to talk with them.  We are getting ready to start the commute to Birmingham!

I always get good service and treatment when I have to go to the hospital. Unfortunately because there are so many people just trying to get pain meds they don't try to go in to detail about what is causing the pain. They do that to cut costs on the patients with no insurance.
