Story

Jacob Construction & Design, Inc. (JCD) has been providing responsive, cost-saving construction services to Federal, State, and local government agencies; universities; and private industry clients since 2007. Headquartered in San Luis Obispo, California, Jacob Construction & Design was able to develop a core team of craftsmen that gave us the ability to self-perform a wide variety of trades, becoming the catalyst to our success in the Federal Construction Market. In addition, we were able to develop working relationships with a pool of the industry’s finest subcontractors across California and beyond.

JCD’s ability to self-perform multiple trades, coupled with the management knowledge of our dedicated personnel and pool of subcontractors, set the foundation to take the company to the next level.

Today, we have a long list of successful projects throughout California, Nevada, and Texas and are recognized as a regional leader for our strength in traditional construction methods and for our creative, fresh approach to cutting edge technologies and delivery systems. We apply our expertise to a broad spectrum of customizable construction related services and delivery systems, including: Pre-Construction, Construction Management, General Contracting, Electrical, Design-Build and Alliance Partnerships.
JCD is a multidiscipline, Certified Small Business [SBA 8(a)] General Contracting Firm with a construction bonding capability of $15.0 Million per project and an aggregate bonding level of $30.0 Million. Furthermore, JCD is well versed in government contracts, policies and procedures. JCD has performed as a prime contractor for both Government, commercial and private sector clients under the following contract mechanisms:
