Went with my 9 and 3 year old at about 1:15pm. Waited several minutes to get seated while 3-4 different staff looked at me (and eventually the couple behind me that had entered) but did not approach. Ordered fries as an appetizer, it never came. Ordered 2 kids meals, buttered noodles and burger and both were fine actually. Ordered Greek flatbread no mushrooms. Came with mushrooms all mixed in and could not get them or the flavor out. Server never came back to check except to bring the bill. Food took almost 30 minutes. Ordered dessert for the oldest and that came fast and was good. I asked to have my meal taken off the check and had no problems with that request. It just seemed like no one cared and no one wanted to be there. It was not overly busy but the entire feeling was that customers were a hassle. Hope it was a fluke but I would not go back myself.

Took my wife here for a birthday dinner.  We both ordered 10oz prime rib.  Not to good.  Both were stringy, hard to cut.  I had ordered mash potatoes... those were barely warm and were cold half way through the meal.  Service was good though unenthusiastic.  Pretty expensive for what we got.
If you are an owner or manager reading this you need to know you can't keep buying cheap meat.  I could easily get better at Cub foods.
If you don't want to go the way of Timberlodge and other seemingly successful restaurants., you seriously need to look into things.
We won't be back.

Jake's is a bit pricey but the food is AMAZING! The portions are large! My husband and I shared an entre and were both more than satisfied. The service was excellent and accommodating.

The above was from 2 months ago. We went this weekend and the food was not so good. The staff attempted to make things right, but in the end. .. they couldn't make up for it. We were disappointed.

Huge portions, great look and feel to the place. Service was not perfect but with everything considered they still earned 5 stars. I will definitely return to this restaurant next time I'm in town.

Apps are great, especially Jake's wing. Mother's day brunch excellent. I served there years ago and eat there often. I recommend you try it. Very nice patio and staff is great.
