Old school pub style bistro in the heart of Old Town Saginaw. Exposed brick and dark oak with lots of pictures on the wall contribute heavily to the lumber barron era private club atmosphere. Seasonal wrought iron fenced in outdoor seating and a beautifully appointed full bar add to the abmiance. Rest rooms are interestingly decorated with beer signs. A small meeting room is also available. Call ahead to reserve. French onion soup is probably the second best onion soup I have ever had. (9/10) Turkey and asparagus sandwich was exquisite. (10/10) The beef brisket sandwich was excellent. The honey mustard BBQ glaze was a perfect match.(10/10) Service is a bit slow. But food quality makes up for this. Lunch for 2 came out to 32.00.

Not like it used to be that’s for sure. We were the only ones in there and took forever for a simple lunch salads for two. Which were garbage!! spring mix? More like a head of white iceberg lettuce. Service was poor as well didn’t even ask how it was. Needless to say we were disappointed and will not go here again. Expected way more from this place.

Came here during s power outage. We were travelling from Belleville, Ontario, Canada. We were so pleased to have found it. Great food, great people, great service and greater food. Things have a way of turning out. 👍❤️

Nice atmosphere. Dined alone on my lunch hour. Ordered the cherry chicken salad sandwich, it was delicious. With an ice tea the bill was $11. For the quality of the food and portion size I felt it was a good value. Server was prompt, and had a good attitude. Food came out quickly (it wasn't very busy on a Wednesday at 1pm). Overall, if you're in downtown Saginaw I would recommend this place. Has a classy feel and good pricing. 👍
