I've never been more sad that I had to give a business a star to leave a review. First the host tried to sit me at a dirty table but I chose the one further away, it was clean, problem solved. The menu was crowded to me so after looking through and squinting the majority of the time I gave up and resorted to my go-to; carnitas tacos with a side of rice and beans, oh and I ordered a tamale as well. The carnitas tasted like watered down, dried up cheap beef, I was disgusted. The flour and corn shell were old in my opinion; they were all dry around the edges. I've NEVER had to salt and pepper beans and rice at a Mexican restaurant but there's a first time for everything. The beans were watered down and bland, the rice was soggy and tasted like it had been soaking in water. The tamale while the sauce and cheese were good the inside was filled with chunks of dry beef almost similar to what the carnitas tasted and looked like, a dry masa that was thick and drier in certain areas and topped with chunks of dry chicken. I guess I ate more of the chips and salsa than anything else but the chips were super hard as well. To say the least I was super disappointed in the whole meal and for the first time I took nothing home with me. The pictures I'm uploading is of the amount of food that I left at the restaurant. This was by far the worst Mexican food I've ever had.
Ate there the first night in town… good food, great drinks, excellent service from our waiter, Spencer. Would have been 4-5 stars. Decided to go back the following night. Arrived at 9:06 pm and was turned away, said they were closed. Hours on the door and Google maps said they closed at 10 pm. A member of our party even called 20 minutes prior and was told they would serve food until 9:45 pm. It’s bad business to not have consistent hours and follow them.
The service could be better, my husband and I stood around for over 15min. waiting to place a to go order, even though the girl taking the orders saw us. Were weren't even acknowledged, we actually had to walk up to someone. The food was good but we probably won't go back.Food: 4/5
They don’t have a bartender so when you so to the bar there’s multiple people back there. None of them are willing to help cause they’re not YOUR server. Had to wait till my server was done sitting in the booth to get my check. Me and my husband played “how long until our servers remember she has a table” ….25 minutes. No one checked on us even once while we were eating. Our drinks were empty. I feel like I deserve a refund but we just left cause we were out of time.
Great food, prompt service with friendly faces, kids friendly and if you have a birthday, they'll put on an upbeat music and sing birthday song for u with a sombrero... Vegetarian options: I'm sure they have vegetarian options and can accommodate your choice but I didn't have any. Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere. It does have a bar near the dining area
Too much juice in the salsa. It had everything on my plate wet.Food: 3/5
Always delicious food!! Chili's Poblanos was great, I did get one spicy one!!
By far, one of the best Mexican restaurants around. Our server Ruby was stellar, totally commendable on her service. The food is amazing.
The food quality and quantity was great and Joel, our server, was exceptional. We got the special chimichanga, fajita taco salad, chilies pablano, and the sopapilla.
