I attended this high school. If you're not part of the magnet program or take AP classes, for the most part the teachers are a joke. The sport program is decent, however there is favoritism. Security sucks. They have old ladies guarding the entrances and let all the people that look like parents in.

I go to Garfield HS the teacher suck. Just because all the student got good scores in a math test. The tacher made every one take the test again. DON'T NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!

Many teachers are very liberal and anti-trump. I do not support Trump in many things but I hate how this school is only liberal ideology. Also there was favoritism including in my film class. Students here are racist, including to those who don't speak spanish and who are white.They would call me school shooter, cracker, etc. The only teacher who I enjoyed and who I believe was respectful to other opinions was Mr. Shettleroe. Overall, I don't recommend it to many people.

GARFIELD CLASS OF 17 Garfield is the best place to be at, it has good admin, awesome teachers especially from special Ed, this place I really love, this is better school. The movie stand and deliver is a great movie, I seen it but not all the movie, they have great pe teachers but they push you to do the best and do better in the future. And all the teachers push you to be the best in the future. I will visit this school. Often and whenever I have time to go visit my high school teachers. Want to go back in 2013😢. The fun times with friends during lunch. When I was a senior about to graduate, like in May I was having senioritis tha was the best high school years of all. ONCE A BULL DOG IS ALWAYS A BULLDOG. GLOBAL STUDIES FOREVER🌏

Im at griffith and Im gonna go to Garfield in about 2 years (since im in 7th grade) and Griffith is crazy already, so I am praying for a better, more mature crowd of people..
