I had a sensitive case where if it weren't for Mr. James R Lisa I would be in jail for assault and would have had my visitation taken away. In the end I saw this man fight for me in defensive of a "made up" restraining order that he got dismissed. Visitation was given back to me and more. Also Mr Lisa was successful in surfacing that the Plaintiff unlawfully took my child out of state without my consent or the judge's, as it was stipulated in a prior court order. I just sat back and watched this man work so well that I even ordered the transcript for my own records. May I add that he intimidates his competition with his knowledge and lack of hesitation in representing his clients. I'd give this man 10 STARS if I could. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this attorney against anyone who is trying to break you and your child apart from one another. Thank you Mr James R Lisa!!!

This guy is a lier... 1 year and a half listening to his lies about filing papers and booking a court date.. Lied about ever filing anything and lied about seeing a judge. Always in a trial for some shmuck but never for us.. James lisa is no good do not hire him he waists your time... Spent days sitting at the court house waiting just to be told ill call you in 10 minutes or call me in 2 hrs every 2 hrs with nothing but excuses... No good lier dont hire can not be trusted...

I've read the reviews everyone left for Mr. Lisa.  Not really true.  If it wasn't for this guy right here I would be suck behind bars, eating, sleeping, and going to the bathroom when I'm told.  He literally helped my crying mom in CJP for whatever she could come up with.  I was suppose to sit in jail for an entire month.  He got it pushed up to the next day.  Don't get me wrong when he got me out of trouble he told me I'm an idiot and why would I do this to my mom and he's right.  I don't know how he deals with municipal cases but the guy literally knows every single person in the Hudson county superior court building.  He is in there every single day. 
He's the one who got me that last chance with the prosecutor, now I'm working at Audi. If I could give him 10 Stars I would.  Thanks again James Lisa
