It was a few days before Thanksgiving, and me and my husband were in desperate need to get haircuts before the holiday. My husband's usual barber was out of town, so I remember passing this place by when I was in the area. I took down the number and got appointments right away. 

Well, we are both glad we took the chance on this salon. It was very clean, chic and friendly. Janek (the owner) did both of our haircuts with much professionalism and speed, that it was kind of shocking how quick we got in and got out. Usually, our salon sessions can take hours. Janek did both of our cuts and style in about 45 minutes. 

I definitely payed attention to his cutting technique and style. He is no amateur and his skill and attention to detail is amazing. I showed him one single picture of the cut I wanted, and he gave it to me exactly. No misunderstanding. No wrong haircut. He gave me exactly what I wanted. 

I also liked the fact that he was focused and did not waste anytime with mindless small talk. In fact, I hate small talk while getting my hair cut. I find it to be a bit distracting, and I feel they don't pay attention to what they're doing as much. In my experience, I find the ones that talk the most give the most crappiest of haircuts. 

My experience was great here, and I will definitely come back to Janek's Salon. Thumbs up, all the way!
