My wife and I had a fabulous experience with these guys. The three-man crew they sent over - Joe, Chris, and Enrique - were easily the best movers I've ever dealt with. Professional, efficient, funny, and friendly. They had a great attitude, AND they handled all of our stuff with care. None of our stuff was damaged in transit, nor was our house. They were incredibly conscientious and handled everything with care. I would hire them again in a second.

We used Jay's Small Moves about 6 months ago to move a couple blocks within Berkeley CA. They were very professional & provided great service.  The three guys were polite & professional and went above and beyond helping us decide where to set-up the bed, etc. We wanted to support a local business and are glad that we did. Now looking for another cross country moving company I realize how lucky we were to find Jay's Small Moves!

I've used these dudes 3 times now over the last few years. They get the job done, service both during coordination and the actual move is top notch, price is always fair and transparent... what more do you want? They're a good moving company.

We moved in November 2017 within the city of San Francisco. I asked 5 different moving companies for a quote. While many of them were quite similar in price this one was the only company which would bill in smaller increments than one hour: If the move would take 3h 15min they would not bill for 4h.

We only communicated by email and text; in both cases they responded quickly. The contract was signed on the day of the move. Before that I asked the company for a proof of insurance which they sent me.

The estimated arrival time was 9am but the truck only showed up at 10am. Considering that this is San Francisco this is not too bad. We moved a 2 bedroom apartment from the 3rd floor to a 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor. We asked for 3 movers. They did not have to pack anything, all things had already been boxed by us. However, we asked them to disassemble and assemble a bed and a sofa. During the move we (2 adults) helped carrying boxes.

The move took almost exactly 3h 30m, not including their 20m lunchbreak. Nothing was broken and the team was quick and efficient. 

I have no complaints and would use them again for any other move.
