My first time here last night.Calamari was very good and crispy and not super chewy. My friend was disappointed as his entree for $16 only had 5 shrimp in it and the rest sauce and rice. Service was good and waitress was friendly. Vibe was pretty good to. Drinks however we're awful as they were watered down and it was just absolute and cranberry. There was a taste of soap in the second one we both had. My friend had some scotch and club soda and he said the same thing.

I just LOVE this place! Gourmet Louisiana cooking, surrounded by wonderful New Orleans decor and jazz music! Menue tends to favor the spicier side, but there are a few non-spicy dishes for those of us who can't handle the heat. Their bread pudding is AMAZING!!!

A decent chain restaurant. Portions were a bit small but the flavors were good. Good atmosphere. If you're needing to change up you're eating out routine, give the place a try.

This is one of our favorite places to go for dinner when we are in Columbia. When they say it's spicy, they mean it. I always get the gumbo, and usually an Alfredo dish, then take half of each home as leftovers for lunch the next day. Also, there is live jazz music in the evenings, and it's pretty good, if a bit loud when you're by the stage/ speakers. They run daily specials during the week mon-thur. Price is reasonable for any sit down restaurant, with nice size portions.

My daughters and I made a rather impromptu trip to Columbia last weekend and got caught in the MU Family Weekend crowd. It was awesome to only have about a 15 minute wait when the restaurant was packed and there were many more coming in behind us. They were clearly a little short-staffed (and we wish they were in a bigger space), but they appeared to have it all under control. We enjoyed the live music while waiting on our food. Jazz has a FULL gluten-free menu--which is VERY difficult to find. How nice to have many options to choose from! We each ordered a different dish so that we had more to sample. All of our dishes were fresh, flavorful, and reasonable portions. The prices are a little higher than most casual fare restaurants, but the food is much better than average! We would highly recommend!
