Diane Hood, owner of Barre Jazzercise, believes in the importance of fitness as a lifestyle, not just a quick fix. Her facility is welcoming, clean, and offers a variety of classes and formats, including low-impact (LO-HI) classes, walking patterns (LO-LO), all-strength formats, 30-minute Express classes, Fusion formats that incorporate HiiT (High intensity interval training), Family Fun nights, Couples nights, and other special events that make Barre Jazzercise much, much more than a gym. All classes are open to ALL levels of fitness, as instructors will show modifications for people who need to "drop the hop". Members range in age from teens to 80's and above, and include quite a few men. Instructor Michael P. decided to become an instructor after finding success in losing over 60 pounds by working out at Barre Jazzercise. Diane Hood has inspired many people to reach their best fitness level with her knowledge, enthusiasm, and her genuine caring for every single person who walks through the door.
