I absolutely love this store. I always find a great bargain. Store is always clean & organized. Employees very pleasant.

I love the stylist at the johnson city location so I figured since I was out toward Boone I would make an appointment at this jc penneys salon. I rated two stars simply because it was a clean salon. All I had was a wash and cut for times sake. The stylist didnt seem to know what she was doing. I asked for long layers and got none. She didn't trim the left side near my face and cut my bangs much too short. She must have had an awful cold or sinus infection and ran out of chewing gum\mints which is very unpleasant when someone is working right in your face. Our conversation was irritating and I won't go into detail but she was trying to educate me on medical "concerns" with no medical background. I'm not a doctor by any means but I do have a degree in a medical profession. Basically she was rude and a know-it-all about nothing. Lastly the only other employee there was an elderly woman who was freaking out about some drama and acting like a teen over it. Grandma really needed to tuck her shirt in because her tramp stamp was flashing all over the place. I've had bad haircuts before long ago but the real issue was the level of unprofessionalism. It was jaw-dropping. I will never return.

The store is small, no diversity of women. or men clothing compare with the other stores in Miami, FL
