I placed an online order and after 1 month still have not received notification that it's ready for pickup.  I called online customer service told and was told it was ready for pick up at the store.  No explanation as to why I've received no notification.  Several attempts to contact the store have been unsuccessful and I'm heading there now to pick up my order.

DO NOT USE THE SALON!! I have been using JC Penny salon services for years, they were reasonably priced and did a consistent good job. This time however they ruined my hair. I'm not too adventurous with my highlights and didn't think I was requesting anything too challenging, but the first stylist turned my roots orange! Next another stylist tried to fix it and my hair came out "big bird yellow" . By this point I was extremely upset, they has the nerve to try to get me to sign a release! I refused. The second stylist added a toner and made it look less bad. The stylists then tried to tell me that I asked to go to light, trying to shift the blame on me! The manager did not charge me, she gave me a free conditioner, and offered some free deep conditioning treatments, BUT I will NEVER step foot in that place again! 5 hours in that awful salon left me with a burned scalp and fried hair. I'm in a wedding next week and I hope that I can get into a salon that actually knows what they are doing.

I might be biased, because this store has been a family institution. There's always at least something on sale, every single week. These past few years, though, I only shop for clearance clothing items.
