They need serious customer service work. Only 2 registers open in the whole store and we waited over 20 minutes in line for 2 lady's to get checked out. Also the smell of perfume was overwhleming waiting in line downstairs. We had to walk upstairs just to checkout. Also shoe section was a hott mess. I won't be shopping here unless I really need too.

I came here for some Black Friday shopping in the evening of Thanksgiving day. It opened at 2PM that day, which I think is ridiculous. My turkey wasn't even warm by then. But whatever works for their business. Some of the doorbusters weren't very attractive to me, especially not at 2PM. I do like, however, that they have their own little brand called Cook or Cooks or something. They had some really great deals. You have to do a little extra work and send in a mail-in rebate, but other than that, I got some really good stuff. I like the way the store is set up. I don't have any examples of a bad store setup, to be fair, but I found everything I wanted pretty easily. The employees were also very nice. If I had a question or a complaint, they always went way out of their way to help me. A lot of stuff here is overpriced compared to some of the other big box stores out there, but I've never complained about the quality of the items that came out of a JCPenny, I'll tell you that.

Priscilla in fine jewelry treated me horrible. Walked away from me 3 times, didn't show me anything in the store, I had over $250. 00 to spend for my mother's Valentine gift, and she was very cold to me and aggressive, never apologised, and before any of this I waited 32 mins, and recieved no help didn't get the chance to see anything. She spoke down to me, and got Combative, and aggressive as she spoke to me. Priscilla hurt my feelings and treated me terribly. I left about in tears. They didn't have the ring I wanted, but she couldn't showed me other things I wanted to look at, instead she walked away from me 3 times, and I didn't even get to look at anything. I was going to spend at least $250.00 and get a Careplan, and 1 of those beautiful pink bears. And I left the store in tears and empty handed. I was apppauled by Pricilla's behavior, and why she was speaking to me in an aggressive, cold tone. She treated me like I wasn't a customer. I am a customer when I come into the store shopping and I deserve to be treated like one. Her name was Pricilla and she had blond curly hair. She never even apologised for anything, instead just defended herself. She never helped me look for anything, she never showed me anything when I wanted to see other things because I had a certain amount I wanted to spend, she walked away from me 3 times in a row, and spoke down to me so that my feelings were truly affended. Very little knowledge of her department it seemed like, and other customers that came up after me look like they were upset as well, Pricilla Walks away from the customers. That is very bad customer service. I Truly hope she gets the proper training and learns how to be a little nicer and respectful to customers. I habe to now apologise to my own mother that I couldn't get her anything from the JCPenney jewelry department because Pricilla walked away from a potential sale 3 times in a row. From me. I wanted to look at 3 different items, I was no longer interested in the ring they didn't have that she suggested I go look on line form instead, I wanted to see 3 other items because I had money to spend. She instead walked away from me every time she saw me at the counter, knowing that I wanted to see a couple of other things. In all my years of jc Penney, this is the worst I've ever been treated by any associate. I sure do hope that Management Reads their reviews, because I am left in tears, this Valentine's Evening. Very Very Disappointed. Please make sure something is done about Pricilla on you're fine jewelry department. No customer, or customers deserve to be treated like this. Customers deserve kindness, and respect.

I used to work here back in the day and as a teenager it was tramatic. It's terrible to work for.
