Produce at good prices, needs to be eaten fast!! Has a good selection of spices and ethnic ingredients....watch the exp. dates though!

Great place for Halal meats. Fresh. I've noticed they butcher some of them in the back of the store where from time to time you can see it hanging through a window. Beef, lamb, goat etc. They also have whole chickens cut into quarters which are fantastic for stews. Decent price per pound on frozen shrimp. Fantastic prices on fruits and veggies. Many discounted produce items out front must be used quickly, or shop the produce inside for fresher products. Sometimes you need to specify to the cashier if you got it from out front, because the prices inside trend to be a little higher, from what I can tell, there isn't always an easy way to tell them apart. Not the place to go if you are strict on buying only organics. An entire aisle full of spices, which tend to run much cheaper than regular grocery stores. Two aisles of beans, lentils, grains pastas. Great prices on olive oil, natural yogurt, tahini etc.

June 2017 Hope the owner or any responsible person sees this comment and take action. Jds, if you sell meat you need to make sure it's not spoiled. Expired, 50%, or free if you know it's spoiled you should not sell. If customer ask for refund for bad meat, it's completely unacceptable to ask them to bring back the spoiled meat. Who will keep it in home once you see it is bad meat? A snap of the meat cover and bill is not enough it seems. Previously I have given good rating in Google and recommended lot of frnds also to jds. But if you continue with these kind of pathetic rules then you will lose lot of customers for sure Apr 2017 Awesome fresh meat available here. Chicken from JDs is the best as compared to other supermarket quality. Good stock of vegetable also and in very reasonable price.

I go in there weekly for my veggies. They last about a week but you have to know when they come in fresh. The ladies at the register are always friendly. I don't feel out of place going here and prefer it to larger stores. Also the spices are the best price for family size. If I go to qfc it costs 8 bucks for cinnamon maybe 9. I get a bag of cinnamon here for about 6 and 2x as much. Never been scammed and I am aware enough to check for that.
