It's a quaint neighborhood grocery store. I've been going here since I moved up here, and it used to be my "go to" grocery store for just about everything. Tonight I was glad to see some friendliness and good customer service, for the most part. I asked an employee to help me find something that was in the weekly Ad that was on sale, as it wasn't where it usually was. He was real young and rolled his eyes when I asked for some assistance. Which is unusual because generally employees here always have a smile on their face and are eager to help you, ESPECIALLY if you happen to have any questions. Maybe because he was young and it's getting closer to quitting time? Regardless, an employee should always treat their customers with respect and friendliness. Aside from that, the only other frustrating thing I kept running into was that the shelves were pretty empty. 5. Out of 11 products I was looking for were out of stock or only had one type/kind left, so on a few things I had to settle with second best to the original item I wanted. Now I'm hoping it was because it's a Sunday night and maybe they haven't re-stocked yet. Shouldn't there be an employee or 2 making sure their shelves aren't empty so that customers can easily find what they're looking for with a quickness? I guess we will see when I go back in a few days ^_^.

The place is so messy and everything is so crowded. They close the door really early and even though it is so busy people trying to use one door is very annoying. I haven't shopped at Safeway over a year and my memory of Safeway used to be very good. The kitchen was closed and they still have food but the didn't even turn around to tell us she's not selling the food. The hot food was still sitting there and it is 8:50 p.m. she have the lights off but my understanding is they close at 9 p.m.

While not rhe largest Safeway in the region, this store offers a wide range of choices. Their newest feature is a hot wings bar. I highly recommend their pharmacy as the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and focused on your needs.

Kind of dark inside, artsy layout. Fried chicken is too salty. Safeway Gas station and mailbox in parking lot. Weekends the parking lot is a hang out for kids, not bad though. After 9pm (I think) the north door is closed, park on the South end of the parking lot, by Ivars. BECU cash machine and Starbucks inside.

They accomodated me on a sale item, bending the rules a little bit to make me happy. A little above and beyond what I expected. Occasionally they have great sale items and that's when Safeway is my store.
