We would almost turn around and drive 5 hrs back to Pittsburgh to have another couign amann but have decided that they should remain a rare treat...if we could get our hands on one anytime we liked, we would be two fat little balls

I absolutely love this bakery.  We moved out of Millvale/Pittsburgh 19 years ago and stop everytime we are in Pittsburgh. His pastries are to die for.

I have loved this place for years and I tell everyone I know about it. While la gourmandine is known for their breads, this place is the best for everything else French, and the breads are excellent too. The croissants and pastries, macarons and even the most basic looking cakes and treats are unbelievably good. Their prices are fair and you'll never be disappointed once you eat it. Some of their best things sell out quickly especially on the weekends so get there early if you can. There isn't really seating here.

Awesome everything so far...macarons, breton, key lime, quiche, kouign amann, palmier...it was all delicious!
