Wouldn't go to anybody else but Dr. McGillycuddy. He's the best at sports medicine. Had REAL bad crash skiing, racing SG. My MCL, LCL, ACL, PCL and Meniscus were torn. He's the only doc that asked: Do you want to ski again? If yes, it's going to take some time... My husband and I did the homework, checked everything thoroughly, experience, education, RESULTS...! I saw 3 other docs (supposedly the best) to get diff opinions. Other docs wanted me on the operating table "now" without even looking at x-rays, without having a plan... Mmmm, no thks! People say of McGillycuddy, he has no bedside manner? I didn't and still don't care about fluff. Brought my friend to one of my apps. She had same reaction as others: he was all into your knee but didn't really look at us? Hello!!! Isn't that what he suppose to do? My response to all: I don't want to date him or go out to dinner with him. I wanted and needed the best orthopedic surgeon and that's what I got!

I did not care for this doctor. I saw Dr. Jeffrey McGillicuddy yesterday and I was highly disappointed and dissatisfied. I arrived at 9:00 for a 9:30 appointment and when he came in he asked me why I was there and what was going on with me. It seemed like he didn't even read anything about me and he hadn't even looked at my MRI. I told him that I had been told by my Primary physician that I have a torn rotator cuff. He asked me how it happen so I told him. Without even checking me he proceeded to ask me if I had ever had a dislocated shoulder and I told him when I was 3 or 4 years old. He said that doesn't count and asked if I had a more recent dislocated shoulder injury. I said no and he said you must have a frozen shoulder without even examining me. I told him that my doctor had said that my MRI showed that I had a torn rotator cuff. I asked him why he said that I had a frozen shoulder land he said that I couldn't have a torn cuff by how I had injured my shoulder and that he would need to look at the MRI. I asked if he would go over the MRI and he said he needed to go look at it. I don't understand how he could make a diagnosis without even examining me or without looking at the MRI. Also, I wonder if he even read the referral from my doctor. When he came back from looking at the MRI he said the MRI was not a very good or clear MRI, but he said I have extensive damage to my shoulder and that even if I did have a torn rotator cuff he wouldn't do surgery because my shoulder is frozen and he would want to get the shoulder unfrozen before he would do surgery. Nobody had said my shoulder was frozen. Then he NEVER did go over my MRI with me and told me to go have X-rays done and reschedule with him once I get the X-rays. The Manteca Imaging didn't even do those particular X-rays he ordered and I would have to go to the hospital to have the X-rays done. I just did not like his attitude or the way he treated me. He was RUDE and not friendly. Not a good bedside manner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL!!!

Horrible office and Dr. Im not sure they know what they are doing over there! If I could find another office I would! They never answere the phones either!

the receptionist told me that I had to wait a week to schedule an appointment that the doctor had to review my record first before he can see me as a patient. my PCP also sent my records last week on 03/24/2016 and again on 03/29/2016. so the doctor picks and choses who he want as patients, he doesn't examine the patient in person, so if are chart is not worth his time he will pass you on.
