I really wished that google would let me give them a -5 star review on this one. Last Wed 11/8, I took my cousin who was visiting from overseas and wanted to treat him to lunch on his last day in Boston. Since I work in downtown Boston on Wednesdays, I took my cousin with me, I was hoping that he would go for a clam chowder or a lobster roll, but he chose Chinese food, we love Chinese food. We both ordered our plates and at the time of payment he said he wanted to treat me so he pulled out his phone and did "tap-to-pay", there was only one lady working at the line, with the very little English she spoke she said that the payment didn't go through and showed us the screen on her system, but my cousin got a text message saying that the payment did go through, long story short, we tried to communicate with her and we weren't going anywhere, so I told her I would pay. I have been calling the phone posted on google, and get no answers, yesterday, 11/15, I went again to see if I could talk to someone else, there were two ladies this time who seemed like they wanted to help, but in the end they told me to come back on Friday, I told them that I don't live in Boston and that I only come in on Wed, she shrug her shoulders and that was the end of the conversation. I called my bank today to submit a dispute, we'll see where that goes.
Service is too bad. I asked for one more napkin because sauce is outside on the box when I got it, but the woman said only one napkin each customer. She even threw my credit card on the ground, yes on the ground, just because I insisted to have one more napkin. Ridiculous service.Food: 1/5
July 2023. Most of the negative reviews about this place are quite old, dating back a year and whatnot, especially the ones that describe food poisoning and stuff. The food is fine, it’s not particularly good, but it’s about average for a Chinese takeout store. There also is a wall of safety permits you can see now to verify that the food is safe. Pricing is also fine, you can get a 3 dish meal for 16 dollars which isn’t very overpriced. Service is still kinda poor but it’s not horrible. Tldr if you’re wondering if this place is safe it is, but you still should try anything else in the area since it’s better. 5 star is just to offset the pretty undeserved 1.9 star rating
$19 for lo mein, rice, and orange chicken. Everything tasted like it was sitting out for days. Rubbery and nasty tasting. The lady behind the counter had a miserable face. Not even a hello or thank you. I feel bad for the $19 I handed over to her. I’m sad.Food: 1/5
Extremely overpriced for what I got. 3 item combo and a large drink for about $30. Portion was really small, food tasted not fresh, more like the freezer, and my drink tasted watered down. Staff was somewhat friendly, but the prices and the quality are not up to par. Wish I saw the reviews before ordering.Food: 1/5
Visited Oct 2022. Nothing wrong with the food / service. Orange chicken was very tasty. I'm sure there are better places in town but this was a decent stomach filler, would definitely use again. Prices comparable with other vendors in the market.
Worst employees ever they charge your card multiple times and tell you it’s your card that won’t go through but you can see the card was charged 4 times.when you try and ask them about it they speak there language and become extremely rude and disrespectful to you.
Can't really agree with most of the negative reviews on here. The food seemed to be a good quality and flavorful. Noodles were good. Service was average but that may be because of the language barrier. Overall I would return next time I am at the hall.
