First of all, the place is clean, nice, and well established. Fairly quick service is another plus. Moreover,  most of the servers seem courteous. Howver, I have had an old waitress who was kind of rude. Overall, this restaurant leaves an impression that the food is going to be amazing based on its appeal and online reviews. In fact, the food is mediocre to say the least. The dishes are bland, do not have any distinctive flavor that should be associated with the particular dish. The price is on the high end side of most of Chinese restaurants. This is an perfect example of a great cuisine that has been Americanized.

More details to follow, but just had to write a quick note about how FABULOUS this place is! By far the best dumpling house/Chinese food in Dallas. Do yourself a favor and grab a few friends,  share a pot of loose leaf tea, devour some dumplings, and sample as many different dishes as you can - everything on the menu is truly worth a taste!

Personal favorite: the sautéed snow pea greens are to die for, and I wish I could hire someone to follow me around with an endless supply of their crispy, flavorful green onion pancakes. 5 stars!!

Best Chinese food EVER!! Freshly cooked and couldn't taste better. We live over an hour away but plan to come back often. Try the crispy fish with garlic sauce. To die for!

Haven't been here in a while, but it's still as good as ever. Various steamed, fried, and boiled dumplings, which they are known for, are great. Hand made noodles are as good as ever. I always get the beef noodle soup; actually, I order the beef tendon, but with the beef noodle soup broth. The beef tendon soup dish is SUPER spicy, way to spicy for me. The beef noodle soup is just right, but I prefer the beef tendon. They accommodate my special order and I'm quite happy.

Since they moved to this new spot a few years ago, they've been getting more and more non-Asian clientele, which is probably why they moved and changed the decor. Thankfully, it hasn't affected the food. But be careful reading the reviews, as some of those folks may not understand or appreciate the authentic Chinese food this place offers.

I live in Plano, which is where most of the Asian food scene seems to have moved, which is why we don't come down here too often anymore. However, it was really nice to see how this Chinatown plaza is really doing well, several new shops, and most of the space is full. Hope it continues.

This place is awesome! The service is great and the food is fantastic. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I've ordered.  It's always crowded, which speaks volumes about the food...everyone is trying to get seated. So be prepared to wait.  Well worth it though!
