Well Jerry's cafe sure has the ratings and the people rating it to push him to the top in Gallup. Maybe it just is the best in Gallup? I'm not sure I haven't tested enough places in Gallup to give that opinion with any solidarity. Jerry's is a little tiny hole in the wall that makes some okay Mexican food. Didn't knock my socks off like the ratings say it should have but it was Worthy it was fun it was at small hole in the wall from a Time past. I think it fits in well with the Route 66 going through town that is aging nicely but it's definitely really aging. If you're in Gallup it's worth a try.

Amazing food! Very attentive and nice staff. The place is really, really small and the bathrooms are located past the swinging doors and are very cramped add well. However, don't let that stop you from going in. Food so good, it usually has a line to get in! Salsa is hot, be prepared!

Getting off the train and looking to eat well? It's a sweet little places packed with charm. Food is filling, satisfying and reasonably priced. If you're passing through, hungry and or looking for a stop it's a nice respite this is your place. I got off the train here waiting to get picked up and it was the only place open. A very reliable hallmark of the establishment. There was a wait when I showed up but it was no time at all. Smoked one cigarette and there were plenty of tables available then.

I love that they support artists come in to sell their work. - It was a lovely experience. The green Chile sauce was delightful and the sopapillas were great. They serve honey on the table for a delicious way to top your leftover sopapilla as a sweet treat at the end of a meal. So happy we stopped.

I ordered a steak burrito for takeout for lunch during a road trip through NM. Figured a burrito would be easy to eat while driving, or at least sitting in the car. This is what I got (see pics). It was more of a half-assembled steak quesadilla with all the ingredients outside the tortilla, which all was buried under crinkle fries. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really a burrito. I was very confused while eating it. Service was fast, friendly, and the place was packed when I walked in. Good signs and atmosphere, full of mostly locals.
