Small establishment especially during lunch time. All the tables were taken and when someone left the crew didn’t bother to clean any, so we sat at a dirty table that we needed to wipe down ourselves. The sub looks great when it is closed, but as I bit into it all I could really taste was the sauce and the bacon. Couldn’t taste the chicken, because it hardly had any. Check out the opened sub to barely see any chicken in it. I was not happy with my sub or the dirty tables. My hubby’s sub had more meat and tomatoes in his. The best part was the service. I will say the young man who attended us was very polite.
We arrived at 745 knowing the store closed at 9 but hoped we'd give them ample time to close up. When we walked in there was a girl working on an online order of about 4 hoagies so she called her coworker over to assist us. We could hear the girl complaining from the kitchen area about having to come assist. We ordered 2 hot sandwiches, however they were wrapped up and taken to the cashier before we even got a chance to say we wanted to add toppings to finalize our sandwiches. I asked if there was any toppings available, like mayo or anything and they directed me to the side near the sodas where there were packets of mayo and mustard. Still did not offer to add toppings. There was a gentleman working, he did ask us if we wanted any of the teas before he put those away for the night. I'm sure the food will be decent, however the service was not anything impressive. We were treated as an inconvenience. I do acknowledge the one girl was already busy making several other sandwiches so I do not hold her accountable for this interaction at all. But we left while they still had over an hour to close up, I didn't know that meant we couldn't be treated as paying customers to recieve the full benefit of making our sandwiches how we wanted.
Stopped in after lunch time around 1:15. 9 people working but actually only 3 were working, the rest standing around . Tables were filthy. You would think someone would have wiped the tables and chairs down. Each hoagies was made to order, but ohh my God. The same person took the order, got the bread, cut the bread, cut all the meat with a slicer by hand, wrapped each block of meat and put back in cooler 1 at a time and passed it to someone else who put it together. Took forever. So inefficient. Won't be back, Gerrity's is bigger better, cleaner and cheaper.
My go-to is the #13, the original Italian. It's a must to get mayo and oil / vinegar. They go a little crazy with the oil and vinegar which makes it messy and delicious.Food: 5/5
Ordered 3 Cheesesteaks $46 2 full 1 half the unsweetened ice tea $3 was almost clear in color tasted like dish water. Cheesesteak was hearty but $17 is way out of this areas economical range. It is new so it is very clean I saw at least six workers when two would of been sufficient Parking: In strip mall or plaza
I arrived early for my pickup order and had to wait for it to be completed. Even though I arrived early for the expected pick up time, an employee approached me while I was waiting and apologized for the delay as well as offering to help my wait. Outstanding service! My order was then expedited and came out earlier than expected. Couldn’t ask for better customer service during what was only a 5 minute wait while I was 15 minutes earlier than my pickup time. Way to go for all employees at this location. Jersey Mikes corporate and district managers should be proud.
This Jersey Mike's just isn't that good. Sandwiches aren't made that well and twice, the drink machines were all disposing flat soda. The JM in Wilkes Barre is much better. I'd recommend that one instead of the JM in Dallas.Food: 2/5
Never had Jersey Mike's so we decided to try it because everybody has highly recommended. Well to my families dismay the buffalo chicken had no flavor, the italian hoagie was wrongly made and my sons cheesesteak was not hot and we didnt know that the roll would be toasted when we scheduled a pick up. After spending more than $100 we won't be eating there again.
Today was opening day here Dallas Pa. My sub was delicious made to profection, they messed up on my wife's and she wasn't happy about it. The one was rude and the cashier was a a$$. Jersey Mike's is our favorite store and it's the first time we encountered this. We plan on coming back in a few days as a date.Food: 5/5
The food here is fantastic. Always spot on. That being said...the team on in the evenings are surly, and rude. I arrived at 8:27pm to eyerolling from a certain person behind the counter. Yes I know it's close to closing. But it was only 2 sandwiches. I apologized for being close to closing. No acknowledgement. I thanked profusely. No acknowledgement. I apologized again. Same result. If you go during the day...that team is happy to be there and make you a slamming sammich. With smiles and gratitude. I was disappointed last night for two reasons. That experience will ensure I do not visit after 3 pm. And as a night shift worker...that means I won't hardly have the chance to get there when I feel welcome.
