The most absolute GARBAGE FOOD and coffee. Don't waste your money. We spent over $50 on breakfast and got this burnt a$$ crepe and the worst tasting coffee. We were on vacation and it really ruined our morning. The place looks nice but the food sucks. They will not refund you either.Food: 1/5
Convenient location, service was good, food Italian Panini was lacking. Most of it had 1 ultra thin slice of meat. The only thing that made this sandwich decent was the focasia bread which was delicious. For about $20 this was not worth it, the side was pasta salad which was drowning in Italian dressing. I did see the poor reviews and still came here it's the only place open near the light rail at 7am and I can confirm that this place is lacking. However, keep an eye on recent reviews... This place could turn around with some small changes.
This was a nice place to stop for a snack after walking around a bit. We tried the Grilled Chicken Spinach Salad minus chicken, House Entrée Salad, and Lavender Lemonada. All three were good. They forgot dressing for the house salad, but there was enough from the other salad to share. I liked the lemonade. I wished they had more vegetarian salads; we had to order a meat one, minus meat, which means you're paying extra. Vegetarian options: There was approximately one vegetarian option in each menu category.
Caramel macchiato was good! A little steep for a cup of coffe. Surprisingly crowded for 5pm but nice vibes.
Crepes spot close to northgate mall. The cafe has a cool vibe and have great selection of crepes, coffee, bubble teas to choose from. Loved the crepes we had sweet and savory, coffee wasn’t strong so I went and bought an extra shot to add to my latte. So if you want strong coffee, go for an extra shot. There’s seating area outside shared with all other stores in the complex, which is very beautiful in summer with a fountain running along in the center.
I love this place, definitely my favorite cafe in Seattle. Their food is amazing CREPES! Sandwiches not so much, their zebra mocha white & regular chocolate is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. They've got really fun old antique wood furniture that gives it a very unique feel, and music is always playing. Service is fine, nothing to complain about, always in a good spirits, but sometimes it can take a while to get your order not their fault, it can get pretty busy. The only drawbacks are it’s a little pricey, and parking can sometimes be difficult. Sometimes I’ll come in on my day off and spend an hour or so with my food and coffee and just enjoy one of the few places left where you can still just sit and relax with your neighbors. Parking: Lot is shared with movie theater and many other businesses so unless you want to use the garage parking can be sparse.
I love Jewel Box Cafe! It's my go-to place for coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The cafe has a variety of drinks and snacks to choose from, and everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite is the mocha latte with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, paired with a croissant or a muffin. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Jewel Box Cafe to anyone looking for a great place to hang out, work, or meet friends.
Update: More expensive than Starbucks. Don’t ever think about getting the zebra mocha, it’s pure sugar. I wouldn’t say the coffee is good, but unfortunately it’s the only coffee shop in the area. I tried a sándwich and it was not good, the cheese was horrible. The frozen coffee was not the best, maybe another type of coffee is better.
Service was good Food was 3.5 the strawberries and bananas of the crepe where not fresh “weird taste” Vanilla Chai latte DELICIOUS 5 Coffee was good too Atmosphere 1 The place is so nice but the music was TERRIBLE ‍ played super loud music and it was like a Gym playlist ‍ not the ideal place to work, read or have a calm chat!
Steep prices, coffee is above north Seattle market rate. It's not bad at least, but not as good as other spots. It's just the only non-starbucks option in Northgate, unfortunately. Crepe was burnt once. Workers are very nice. Cute interior. Surprisingly busy.Food: 2/5
