Simple teriyaki place, but I was very impressed. Very fast service, with generous portions and tasted great. Look forward to coming back!Food: 5/5
As with most classic teriyaki the portion size is great. The sauce is lack luster and service mediocre. But for fast and easy chicken teriyaki - not too bad. Parking: A few spot available in the strip mall lot.
Love this cute little family owned spot. Everything is home made, including their salad dressing that I wish they sold bottles of! Teriyaki is spot on and the portions are generousFood: 5/5
So we ordered fried rice, chicken and tofu. We get home get the food both of us got are teriyaki. Not a huge deal but not what we ordered. The person who we called kept denying what we ordered and was adamant it was teriyaki. I told her it wasn't the case, restated what we ordered and apologized for any confusion but said our orders were incorrect and we got escalated to the owner. The owner wouldn't really help and eventually gave a replacement that he still charged for. I get people are busy in food service and it takes a lot out of you, but like idk this just sucked. Definitely don't recommend this place to anybody who doesn't want to deal with the hostility and weird behavior from the owner and his wife. It sucks because I love lake city but throwing a fit and throwing things around in your store, yelling at your customers because you messed up an order? Nah I'm good, save your money Update: they still didn't give us the correct order and hung up when we called again
This place is great. Cheap, large portions, and so so tasty. There are a few tables available for dine in but you order in the front first. I have felt a little rushed to order but to be honest the food more than makes up for it. One of my favorite places for quick take out. If you live near Northgate check this place out.Recommended dishes
5 stars- great food for a great price. Quality ingredients
This place made my wife cry. My wife is a hospice nurse. So, she goes from home to home seeing dying people. Since it is a mobile position she often needs to find a place to sit down and chart for an hour or two. I understand that this place is small and that they need to make space for more customers. I also understand that Japanese fast food typically has limited seating and a high turnover of customers that makes people working there problematic, but my wife is the sweetest woman with a huge heart and if you made her cry then you messed up. The story: My wife went in, ordered some teriyaki, and opened her laptop to do some charting between patient visits. A woman came out to tell her that she couldn't work there. My wife said that she understood and would wrap up quickly. Moments later, a man came out to tell her forcefully to leave. She was there in medical scrubs and obviously wasn't planning to spend hours and hours coding or something and there were still other tables open. My wife, who was admittedly spread thin already from a stressful patient visit, burst into tears. Caveat: To be fair, my wife said that the teriyaki was good and priced well. I gave their food 5 stars and an overall rating of 2 stars rather than 1 star because of food. They lost a potential regular who would be coming in during the slow periods for and hour or two by making assumptions about her.
Friendly service, food hot, bathroom for customers. Many options on menu. You can feed your whole family one if the best in North Seattle I go all the time Vegetarian options: Vegetables, noodles Dietary restrictions: Yes Parking: People come and go. Watch out when you exit drive way. Accidents happen when pulling out Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Once again, Manna keeps getting in there own way of decent service. The couple that owns the place are rude and arrogant. I just got home after spending a lot of money there to discover are order was completely wrong. They even confirmed my order with me when they handed me the bag, but the woman clearly didn’t actually verify the order when bagging it. There are many better teriyaki places in town. Don’t waste your time on this one
Love this place for quick comfort food. Huge portions for the price - easily get two meals out of most dishes. The chicken teriyaki and katsu are probably my favorite but I also enjoy the beef. Gyoza is also tasty The only thing I usually don't eat the salad that they include on the side because it's just a bit of iceberg lettuce and sauce. Parking: Strip mall - usually always a spot
