Gun buyers, and Hockers beware!!!!!!! 
The federal law does state that you must take the firearm out in a lock, or ziptie. This pawn shops after me paying my loan on time and doing business with them for many years forced me to purchase a $6.40 gun lock before taking my firearm home. I asked them kindly for a ziptie and even offered to pay the $0.75 for it. But they refused and forced me to purchase a gun lock. I will not shop, pawn, or suggest this store to anyone. Very terrible service from the lady who argued with me about it also. Not the owner but another person. I am saddened by this experience and I will not be doing business with this pawn shop anymore. Tri State will at least give you a $0.15 ziptie. How pathetic.

While back i was going to sell them my glock they offered me next to nothing for a flawless glock that had zero wear. I believe 150.00 to 200.00 for a glock i paid 550.00 for. I ended up selling it for 500.00 locally. Not everyone is pawning or selling items that are on drugs. I never went back since. Mack and daves treated me wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better. So they earned my business till they closed shop.

Recently had a deplorable experience whilst in the process of pawning a firearm.While the item was in pawn, no issues whatsoever, they happily and efficiently took my money. When the time came to recover the pawned item, however, their laziness and pursuing to push through a back ground check (eg. Further review) led to a convenient, additional month added to the bill. At this time, it is impossible for me to think that this was anything other than an intentional act perpetrated by morally questionable by business men and women. I would recommend anyone who has dealings with this business to put due consideration in what they stand to lose.
