Was there back in the fall and Brian C. was the one who performed my oil change and I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit. My oil filter gasket was not installed right. The guy just jammed it on instead of sealing it around the housing. Got my money back but they also should have paid the $90 I had to pay at a shop to get it fixed. The guys at the Mchenry Lube Expresses on Rt 120 are honest, they know how to do their job right, they don't half-ass oil changes, and aren't lazy and will be my go to people from now on.

WARNING! I had an issue earlier last year with my new Jeep Cherokee - they forgot to tell me they broke a hinge on the oil plate under my car---so they neatly tucked it up under the car and the guys at the car wash noticed it hanging out when I was pulling in. I went back and they shared it broke, but it's not anything I need anyway. They will zip tie it if I want it back on. 

I had been going there for awhile and thought it was a one time mistake. Unfortunately, on my way out of town - to Minneapolis, I stopped in to my windshield washer fluid topped off and air put in my tire which was reading low. They told me they topped off some oil too as it was a little low. I wasn't 5 miles away and I started smelling oil. When I called them, they said it was nothing---perhaps a little got on the motor. As I drove, I didn't smell it---when I stopped and idled it was horrible. As I went along my trip, it became worse and worse. 

I stopped at another facility and found my oil cap was sitting on top of the engine and oil was everywhere! It was even on my back window from blowing under the car. The new facility (Not a Jiffy Lube) added oil to my car - 2 quarts low and tried to clean it up, but the fumes still filled my car. 

I went back to the Jiffy Lube in McHenry and explained what happened. They filed a claim (after speaking with 3 different people--all management) and asked me to get a quote from Fast Eddies to do a detail of my car because the fumes were probably in the fabric inside the vehicle. I returned with the quote and after several more calls, I received the approval to go get my car detailed. The cleaning did not remove the smell of oil from my car - still smell it strongly when idling, but I guess that is beside the point. 

I waited several weeks for the check to come in the mail. Left several messages for the "managers" to help me look into it and NEVER once a return call. When I finally could reach one of them, they told me to call the office that handles the claims - in Houston. This office has the option of dialing 1 - 9 depending on why you are calling. Not one of them has a human on the other or a working mailbox to leave a message. I asked them to have the Regional Manager call me and he has yet to return my call and they refuse to give me his number (until today - but I don't think it is accurate as there is no message in the mailbox?). Today I received a check for 1/3 of the cleaning. 

There is no one who can help me, no one who can return a call and no one at the corporate office to contact. 

SO, I guess if you take your car in for an oil change - and they do VERY routine service, you might be OK. Unless something goes wrong - then you are on your own. IF someone calls me to help and rectify this situation---I'll take this down. But I've never received such poor customer service from any service or store in my life. I will never return and will not recommend anyone use this facility. There are many other oil change stations in the area - I will be using one of them in the future.

Very friendly and fast. Best value for a quick oil change. Topping off the fluids and keeping me on top of my maintenance makes me feel safer on the road.

I got an oil change before I left on a trip out west. Thought I was ready to go. Until my car would barely drive after being at a stop light. Smoke coming out of engine and tail pipe BAD. Learned after the fact that my oil cap CAME OFF and wasn't screwed on tight enough. Had oil ALL over my engine and hood of my car. Thank you so much for the horrible service! Will never return, and you ruined my trip!

The service at this location was amazing. They hold the door for every customer and they are very fast and know what they are doing. They check all fluids fill your tires and wash your Windows
