Very rude woman scheduling appointments. I received a reference number from whirlpool and once I finally was able to get in touch with this company to schedule a repair, she refused to schedule the appointment. She told me I had to contact the plumber that I had install my hot water heater to repair it and then hung up on me. I wish I could have left less than one star!!!

First off the customer service is the worst here. I called Duke energy because we have a hot water replacement coverage and they called Jim dickerson. To start off with they never called to schedule a time to come out to look at the hot water heater, I had to call them. Then because of the company having TWO technicians out they couldn't make it out until the following day. So the the technician comes out and lets us know its a valve that needs to be replaced. okay that's fine..... He said that is something he will need to see if it can be picked up at a part store or ordered. We had not heard anything until again we had to call which was after 4 pm and our appt was at 8am. Then finally the lady calls me back and tells me that they have to order this part and they are going to 1 day ship. also she told me that they couldn't guarantee for them to be able to come out on monday. So this means we would be without hot water all weekend. That is crazy and the worst customer service to leave a customer without hot water for a whole week. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! would not recommend Jim Dickerson.

I am new to Charlotte and have had many occasions to use Dickerson Plumbing and Electrical as I am renovating my condo. I have had a wonderful experience with the company. They are always on time and have given me excellent service. I have recommended them to others and they feel the same way. I would not use anyone else for my plumbing and electrical needs.

I had a service call that ended up being a very minor repair - less than 5 minutes total time. I suspected there would be a service charge, even though none was disclosed when I called them in the first place. But I was still surprised when I was told their standard service charge is $110. That is more than I have paid any other trade for a service charge, and it was especially painful considering how quick the fix was. I contacted Jim Dickerson and asked for some relief, but received no reply other than an invoice for the full amount. I won't be calling them again.

I had a break in the main line from my water meter to my house. I called Jim Dickerson and they had someone on site in less than 20 minutes. Thomas assessed the situation, told me everything about what needed to be done, and gave me a flat rate price. I was super-impressed with his level of knowledge, his skills in determining what was wrong, and his patience with my questions. I felt confident that he knew what he was doing and that the price he was quoting was fair. My house sits on 1/2 acre and they had to dig a very long trench under the driveway and up a steep hill to fix the issue. On top of that, the soil was very rocky. This was not an easy job and I definitely got my money's worth and then some. In the end everything was done perfectly the first time and we are so glad we hired them. They are now our "go to" plumber for all our needs. We are remodeling 3 bathrooms and we will absolutely will use them for that work and anything else that comes up.
