I have blond in my hair, and it is natural. It was very dry and didn't have the vitality it was use to. John transformed my hair but cutting all the dead ends off, put a high end conditioner in it, used a light setting lotion, sat me under the dryer and transformed Marilyn Monroe into me. Everyone stopped me to say my hair was beautiful. (As a Los Angeles Girl, I thought New Yorkers didn't speak to strangers). He is ABSOLUTELY the best!! Thank you John.

As a caveat to the other posts, wonderful Jazz was playing throughout the salon.

Simply Superb! I've known John Atchison since the late '70s and became a hair model for him for a few years. His mastery of precision cuts and styles is outstanding and has transcended into the millennium!

I love john atchinson salon. If you want to leave because they play Christian music , just leave!
He is one of the best out of many places that I have been before.

I hate listening to the Christian music when I go to this location.  I don't think that I should be subjected to someone else religion. Just sitting and talking to other customers they felt the same way to about the music.  Mr. Atchinson it about the customers not YOU. I am looking for another location  after being with you 3 years

For my first time I was a little apprehensive about the price for a relaxer ($90) and a cut ($100)  but after reaching the salon i was put to ease. The location is great! Really a beautiful salon with a calm peaceful friendly environment. i didnt feel rushed, pushed around or ignored.. i didnt have to spend any time waiting for my stylist to see me.. i saw a women who did my relaxer and conditioner and my stylist Jamia who gave me the best cut and style ever!  I mean they both really took pride in their work and made sure i liked my style. Never the less, i have been seeing them ever since. Though the music isnt my favorite choice, i know their work, appearance, and professionalism speaks for itself.
