They are lucky I have not sued them YET. Is there a way to give them a negative five stars? 
Very disappointing and the worst experience with insurance company. I never had a car accident due to a collision with any other car. A few years ago a chunk of metal on the highway flew under our car has pierced a transmission pan of our new VW. The car was towed to a dealership and their repair price was around $750 Our ourt of pocket deductible was $500. State Farm insurance has sent an "estimator" who has low-balled the repair cost to $450 - just below deductible and we were left on our own... Our broken car was a hostage at the dealership.  I ended up paying $750 out of my pocket and told the State Farm that I will be paying for the repairs myself and they should NOT be filing a claim. 

THE WORST PART: In the process of switching to another insurance I have discovered that State Farm has entered a "multi-car collision claim and at my fault" into the system (for all insurances to see). This has damaged my insurance rating and has cost me more premium to insure. 
I'm still seriously considering to take legal action against this company.
Perhaps YOU should also check with other insurances to make sure that State Farm has not used this smear tactic on you to keep you from getting a better rate somewhere else.

I just signed up for insurance a couple months ago at John's office. I had AAA and had the worst experience with them. When I had questions, I could never speak to the same person. I hate call centers! When I transferred to State Farm, John helped me out every step of the way, he even helped me get a car loan. All the office employees are awesome, and always offer me a coffee or water whenever I come in. I absolutely recommend you give them a shot!!!!!
