Great place to sit and chat or take a stroll along the water. Awesome.

Fairly basic park, nicely located between Harvard Square and the Charles river. Pros: + Location, + Green grass, + Enough trees to provide shade. Cons: - No trash cans by the exits where you most need them (?), - Often a lot of goose droppings in the southern half of the park. - Memorial Drive is very busy and drives a wedge between the Charles and the park. The park could have been spectacular, had it been connected to the river. (For some reason neither Cambridge nor Boston seem to value the great natural resource that the Charles river is, both cities choosing to place main traffic arteries right next to the river, effectively separating the city from the river. Great example of failed city planning. Sigh.)

Normal park with good views of the Charles and the business school. Not taken care after. A lot of ducks around. Some of them are vicious. A little dirty.

I Rated It 3 Star , For " Severe Maintinence Overhaul , Most Needed " .. It Is A Famous Place For All : Picinicer's , Walker's , Jogger's , Runner's , Baby Walking , Playing Frisbee And Other Such Similar Light Sport's .. The Water : " Charles River " , Is Just A Few Moments Walk , You Can Visually See It From JFK Park ..

Plenty of benches and shade along the waterfront. Lots of greenspace, not too much in terms of stuff to look at in the park itself though
