John's Philly grille was referred to me by several friends who said it's the best "Philly" sandwich around. 

I always order the works steak. Mushrooms, peppers, grilled onions, cheese and fresh meat. They combinations of flavors is amazing. Quality and freshness are always top notch.

I also suggest only ordering a half of a sandwich if eating by yourself, they're huge. 

As for sides they fries are decent run of the mill day fries. I really suggest the zucchini, they either makes these fresh or have a really good zucchini vendor.

All and all I want to give this place a fiver start but a few hiccups across my many visits here only net a 4.

Taste very good. The Philly juice ruins the bread ... Need to be drained... It was like soup. But the taste was very good. Decent for a quick lunch. Very fast service and very friendly.

Best Philly cheesestake you can find in the OC area. Puts the more popular chain sandwich shops to shame.  For about same prices you'll get a lot more sandwich, much better quality, and way better taste.  Even serve beer! I typically get the large 12" and share along with side of onion rings. Superb!
