There MAY be a wait of 20-30 minutes however, it IS well worth it. Plus it gives you a chance to socialize, outside of it's nice out, where it Will be quiet. 
The food is OUTSTANDING, the staff EXCELLENT, but it is a bit pricey. The Bloody Mary's should be $6.00 and DEFINITELY NOT worth the $9.95 they are charging (we tried them to see how they rated against OTHER weekend Bloody Mary specials, average taste of a bar EXTREMELY expensive!) Mimosa's fairly priced though. 
We would HIGHLY recommend Johnny D's Waffles to everyone in the Myrtle Beach AREA (North & South ends)!!!

Ate the chicken and waffles. Handed breaded (fresh) in house made to order.  Owner in the middle of a Sunday morning rush was table touching (talking to tables) in his chef jacket. Amazing experience.  Also had home recipe of home fries also amazing.  Thin scalloped with just the right amount of seasoning. I am a local who will absolutely return for Sunday breakfast.

Can’t believe we have been coming to Myrtle Beach for three years and haven’t ate here before today. I don’t have any pictures because as soon as the food was placed in front of me I attacked it! I had the famous red velvet waffle (waffle plater came with eggs and sausages) and my boyfriend had the Thrilling Three (three pancakes, three eggs and bacon). Let me tell you, I haven’t had breakfast like that in a while! The eggs were cooked perfectly. My waffle was soft in the middle and crunchy on the edges. I had icing, butter and syrup served with mine. We had wait maybe 5 minutes to get a table but it wasn’t bad. Bottom line: if you want great breakfast on MB GP to Johnny D’s. Megan was our server and she was amazing! Consider us customers for life!

This cute diner has a lot of unique menu items. I had the chipotle avocado omelette, which was something I’ve never heard of before, but I enjoyed it a lot. Other people at the table got the red velvet waffle & Cinnamon swirl waffle. Yummy, but only one, so it wasn’t as filling. 

We came here for lunch the next day and the salad with chicken & balsamic dressing was delicious! The pork belly tacos were very good too. 

Would recommend to others and certainly would come again!

Ate here every morning for our breakfast. Loved the waffles, so light and fluffy! So many options to choose from. Always busy but never a long wait or felt rushed. Food was always out quick! Highly recommend
