We were there a couple of weeks ago.   This time was just as all the other times.   Absolutely the best  BBQ and everything else that we have ever tasted.  
The servers are very sweet and attentive.  The checked on us several times,  making sure our drinks (tea and water) were always full. 
Just can't seem to say enough good things about the entire experience!   
We're going back again really soon!  🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝

Johnny's BBQ is in my blood!! My parents knew the parents of the current owner, when they were in high school, so to say their BBQ has been in my home, usually, once a week, since I was born would not be a lie! It's no upscale, fancy place, but you feel right at home, as soon as you walk in the door! The service has always been very good, and they have always been friendly.  I LOVE their stuffed potatoes! They have great BBQ plates but for me personally, the baked beans are a little too spicy, but their homemade potato salad is second to none! Love their crinkle cut fries too.. 
If there is a "negative" for me, they have changed their red sauce over the past year, and for me it has become too water, and way too spicy.  Before they started their catering, and competition part of the business (before Dad sold it to his son) they had the PERFECT red BBQ sauce! It was thick, with a perfect blend of sweet and spicy, and did not cause me to have a long night of heartburn! Since the changes, I no longer enjoy the red sauce, I cannot finish my meal bc it is just too hot! So this is the reason I am giving four stars instead of five... Don't mess with what works! In my opinion!

This place has delicious stuffed baked potatoes! There pork sandwiches are great as well. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The BBQ was on a list of "100 Foods to try in Alabama".  We were traveling near by and decided to try it. We enjoyed it.   I liked the sauce.  It was vinegar and tomato based.  Tangy with out being over powering.    Highly recommend giving this place a try

I've been going to Johnnys Barbeque since way before it was in it's current location and I can honestly say that I have never been dissatisfied with the food or service.  There is alot of barbeque competition here and I think Johnnys is by far the best!  I love it all from burgers,  onion rings,  ribs,  chicken to pork barbeque.  It's just the  best!
