I come here everyday for jog, nice place for kids as well due to zoo. My daughter love the zoo and enjoys in park as well.

Two mile stretch along the Raritan river, with parking at reasonable intevals. Lots of picnic party areas, nice scenery. One good playground. Tennis court and a sports field (not sure for what sport, maybe soccer). The best parts are the zoo(!) and the East Jersey Olde Town, which is basically a historic village museum. Totally worth a day out with the kids, a bit of history, a bit zoo, a bit of playground, a great combination in my experience. Also good for a run/walk.

This park is great two sides to this huge outdoor play ground. One side has the play ground with a petting zoo!! Other side also has play ground but this side has out door grills which can be used anytime you can also get a permit to have parties here wonderful place for the kids and dogs to run and play!!!

Great place for kids! You may bring some vegitable to feed anymals. Lectuce or carrot would be a good choice so you kids can enjoy feeding them. The park sells some things to feed but it is just corn and some seeds so it is not easy to give to animals.

Nice large park that follows the river, some views are nice whilst others are not so nice dependent upon your location along the river. Good park for having a barbecue. Has small zoo which is nice for the kids.
