I went there for seven years.  Every time I went for a pedicure I had the same person.  She always said, “Don’t I do a good job?”   Overkill for me.  I wish she could have given me the opportunity to give her a compliment rather than fishing for one.  One day I was late for my appointment by 20 minutes.  It was the day before my son’s wedding and I was rushed.  I profusely apologized, but the new woman at the desk said I could only have half a pedicure because I had missed half my appointment.  I looked at the woman who was my pedicurist  and she never spoke up for me.  No loyalty.  I now go to Albany Nails on Solano.  They do a better job than at Joi’s and they charge less.

The massage service is terrible. Don’t ever think about trying that. This is the worst massage place. The massager was really poor, she had no idea what she was doing and how to do it. She was late to start, disappeared twice during an hour body massage for no reason and for a long time, and finished right on the clock. In other words an hour massage you paid it ended up with a total only 30 mins. In terms of the skills, I would not call it a massage. It’s someone like a three year old kid very softly touching your body... you see what I meant. I definitely would not recommend this place.

Have come here for 6 years. Best nail salon I've been to, ever. The technicians are thorough yet gentle. Have good taste and will not give you a bad polish job. Vanny and Anna are my favorites.
