I had made a mistake on my local income taxes in a previous year and only recently noticed. The staff could not have been more understanding or helpful. They helped me get everything in order and refiled with no problems at all. Just an honest mistake corrected quickly and with no problems.

These people must be the direct spawn of Satan...They violate federal and state - Usury, Racketeering and Monopoly laws...and use extortionary practices to steal money off hard working citizens. There's a special place in Hell waiting for these people.

Unreasonable fees including, interest, fees, service fees, and penalty. When I called, I was told that the fees must be split between the Municipality, Jordan Tax Service, and Alcosan, that is why they need to be so high! Really. I would think Municipalities would look into this and find a more effective way of collecting Sewage and Taxes than this agency which takes advantage of consumers

This is the worst utility company I have ever dealt with. I've lived in several states, and by far this is the worst one. They once put a FIVE DOLLAR LIEN AGAINST ME. Why? I mailed my check to pay for my sewage bill right before Christmas when the mail is slower than usual. Most reasonable companies will not charge you a late fee if your payment is postmarked BEFORE the due date. Not jordan tax! I sent out my payment on time BEFORE the due date, and it was postmarked as such, but they still charged me a late fee. They just kept adding more and more late fees every month because of the way they set up their system, even though I've paid my bills on time. Like another reviewer said, they purposely HOLD CHECKS PAST THE DUE DATE in order to tack on LATE FEES. I switched to the online payment system to avoid that scam, but the last payment they took out of my account WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION and overdrew my checking account. Everyone I've spoken to on the phone there is completely rude and has never helped resolve an issue not one time. Funny how I have ZERO issues with the water company, electric company, etc... but multiple problems with Jordan Tax. I wish I could switch to a different sewage company but they are they ONLY one in my area. How is that legal??? They have a monopoly on sewage! And I'm pretty sure they're overcharging me for this service. The last bill I got was $50 for one month... There is only one person besides me who lives in my small duplex, and we aren't pooping THAT much.

They did set up a reasonable arrangement for me but, they are not a friendly bunch when you speak to them on the phone. I am thinking it is not a pleasant place to work because most everyone I have spoken to there sounds down right miserable.
