Posting under Alex Myers: My wedding is tomorrow, June 11. We ordered my finance's and the groomsmen's tuxes in March (2 hours in the store, I might add). We were guaranteed delivery the Tuesday prior to the wedding so we planned our week schedules around that. They were late - first mistake. And their excuse was "it's prom season, it gets busy." No apology. So we rearrange our schedules best we can and manage to find time to pick up the tuxes. My brother, a groomsman, tried on his suit on Thursday and his pants were probably 5 sizes too large. Second mistake. Because I insisted on receiving a discount for this inconvenience, I received $40 off.. Which, I'll credit to them, is nice. But still no apology. Then I realized we used Joseph A Bank because of a coupon I received which would have provided us $40 off each rental. That discount was not given to every rental as promised. Finally, on the day before my wedding, we realize the ties are not the ones we ordered. Mistake #3. To be fair, should I have checked the bags earlier? Probably. But they still were late getting them in so it didn't leave much time for corrections. I made this order in store, pointed out the colors I wanted, explained who each color tie was for, and they still got it wrong. With just 24 hours before my wedding I'm not sure how they are going to fix this one. No bride should be in tears before their wedding because orders are so completely messed up. I'll wait and see if we receive an apology for this one, but I'm not holding my breath. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Go to Men's Wearhouse - I hear they're much better, and have great service.

Purchased 8 suits in February for a July wedding. Only received 2 by April and one was the wrong color and the other one was never altered. Continued to receive the runaround and kept being told "next week". I asked to return all of the suits, which was within the return period, and was given a hard time. Eventually received a refund after filing a dispute with my credit card company. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I rented my tux from your North Andover location several weeks before my wedding. I worked with Joe and John (one of the managers) while I was getting fitted and placing the reservation and creating a group for my other groomsmen to get fitted at different locations. A little over a week before my wedding, I received a phone call informing me that my tux was in and that I should come in to get it fitted. I came in a few days after, the Sunday before my wedding (one week), and discovered while trying on the garments that several items were wrong. My shirt was the wrong style and ended just past my elbows. My vest was the correct color, but I was not informed that it would be a bib and not a full vest. I received a bow tie instead of neck tie. My jacket was a short and ended at my belt height. The shoes that were ordered were the wrong color and style. Lastly my trousers were short. I worked then with Jason and worked with him to correct my order, I was told that my tux would be overnighted (It didn't arrive until Friday, two days before the wedding) and that everything would be corrected. Fearing that my groomsmen orders were incorrect, I asked that they travel to their nearest store and check the tuxes. I had one of my groomsmen join me at the North Andover store later that same day. While his sizes were correct, the shirt style, vest color, and tie style and color were wrong. Again working with Jason, all of my groomsmen tux rentals were corrected and again I was told that everything would be overnighted for my wedding (My groomsmen tuxes arrived Thursday, three days before my wedding). I had four of my five groomsmen traveling several hours to get to the wedding, picking up from different parts of the country. The day of the wedding, I was getting ready with my groomsmen, my tux was correct. I had the correct Jacket, Trousers, Vest, Necktie, Jewellery, Shoes, Suspenders, Pocket Square, and Shirt. I cannot say the same was true for any of my groomsmen. One was missing his pocket square, which he was charged for. Four were missing suspenders. Lastly one was missing jewellery. None of my groomsmen received the correct order. Having caught the major screw up a week before my wedding, I thought that Jos A Banks would take precautions to make sure everything was correct. I approached the store manager, Michael Ford, the day after my wedding. I asked if he had been kept up to date about the mistakes and if he had taken part in correcting things. He informed me that he was made aware. I shared with him that none of my groomsmen had correct tuxes and that he could credit back my tux rental. While I appreciate that, I am also aware that Jos A Banks runs promotions that if you rent X number of tuxes that the groom gets a free rental. I was then offered a credit towards a free suit. I do not trust that this store is capable of getting a tailored suit correct. I will never return to this Jos A Banks. I may never shop at another Jos A Banks, I no longer trust this company.
