Nasty salespeople who are more concerned with commissions than the customer. I just left this nuthouse. One salesman showed me to the dress shirts and walked away to help out another customer who was purchasing a suit. I took two shirts to the register and another salesman rung me up. The two sales guys got into a childish, unprofessional argument which was totally uncalled for. The clothes are top quality, but the staff would be better off selling encyclopedias door to door. Shop elsewhere

I'd like to share my terrible experience with the Denville location. I needed a suit for a wedding, and went in to buy ONE suit. I never wear suits, and a second one was a total waste, but their salesman kept pushing. I never met a more pushy and classless individual. I still bought a $400 suit and $40 shirt , was measured for basic alterations, and they committed to having the suit ready in a week. Critical to me because they knew the wedding date. We went to pick it up, and the "suit was lost". Lost, as in gone, as in"we can get another one sent up from Another location in a week. This was not some high end, or unusual looking suit. It was a basic , decent level typical business suit in a very normal size. They just shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. So, they reluctantly processed a refund to my credit card, and I went to the Mens Whse and bough a very similar suit for $280, and they had it ready the next day! My complaint is more so with the older, used car salesman who kept telling me "I'll take care of ya". Unless this old retread was blind and deaf, he could have seen he wasn't connecting with me. I can see something getting lost, but I really question a company letting a guy like this represent their company. Bad management and probably corporate culture !

First time buying a suit and did not have a clue what to do, but Stephen at Jos A Bank was extremely helpful. From the second I walked in he was there giving me advice on style, what to wear for interviews, how to match certain colors, and so many other tips. All the people there were nice and helpful, it is what prompted me to write a positive review because it is very rare that I receive such great customer service from any store.

DO NOT rent a tuxedo from Jos. A Bank. Groom didn't receive the correct tux until the DAY OF the wedding. Very stressful. Major Fail! My sister got married over the weekend and us guys had the more horrible experience with Jos. A Bank. Not one person out of the 7 of us were measured right and some people, including the groom received the items, i.e. tie, vest, pants. All of our pants were extremely wide. We looked like MC Hammer wearing parachute pants. My father (father of the bride) ended up renting pants from another place because they couldn't get a pair that looked right. He also bought is own shoes from someplace else because the shoes were majorly uncomfortable. -Father of the Groom received his pants and they were 5 inches, too short. No joke. you could see the top of his socks, they were so high. He didn't get his pants until the day of the wedding!!!!!!! -Groom received the wrong vest/tie combo and again didn't receive the correct tux til the day of. - The rest of us needed major fixes... pants too long/short, suit too long/too short. Why measure us if they weren't even done right. In general, the tuxedo's were very really poor quality. Not what you would expect from Jos. A Bank. The pants looked like they were a different shade of black compared to the jacket. The suits just looked off. Oh and the guys who worked there had no idea how to work the computer system. It took over two hours for 4 guys to get fitted because they couldn't figure out what to or how to put our measurements into the system. Very stressful. Plus, I paid less for my tux at a local place for the last wedding I was in. Jos. A Bank was high priced and low quality. So, for your wedding, do yourself a favor and go someplace else. You will be much less stressed and will be much happier going elsewhere.
