If I could give this club a 0 I would.   This club advertised $500 for the best costume.  I won the costume contest.  This club tried to offer me a $500 gift certificate to the club or $ to a winery.   I explained to them i didn’t want that and the advertisement clearly stated $500 for best costume.   I would not recommend this club that is false advertisement. This is such a horrible way to get people to come to your club.  I had such a great costume,but i wish I’ve wouldnt have went here and some where else that had there cash prize ready on hand.It was a bad experience and i will never go to this venue again.

Had me standing outside for almost two hours and exactly when I got to the front they were "at capacity". They told people it was free all night but only let VIP in the decided to take pictures of the long ass line outside. "Make sure the people at the end of the line know about the 40$ skip fee" was what was said right before they reached capacity. Wasted my night attempting to attend this place. Won't ever go here again.

NASTY NASTY NASTY SECTIONS!!! GROSS! Think twice before eating here. Sticky, dried up alcohol all over the seats and section tables. Upholstery hanging off the seats in most sections. Be careful where you sit!

Josephine Lounge over charged my brother $40 for entry and have refused to reimburse him. 

My brother called the very next morning to correct the issue and an employee told him that there was no way to access his information in the system and he should call on Tuesday. The lounge is closed Monday- Wednesday. He called back and of course there was no answer.

We called back today and they gave some BS answer about how the bank was holding the funds and we should wait until Tuesday until it cleared... again telling us to call when the business is closed. 

My brother checked his statements and the charges were not pending, they were clear. So their explanation was bogus. upon calling back and clarifying that the charges were clear, the employee gave the same response and told us to call back on Tuesday.

We call his bank to depute the charge because they have already lied on multiple occasions and refuse to assist.

The bank puts us including the lounge employees on a conference call and the employees response immediately changes. Not only is my brother's card information magically available for them to look at, they also refused to refund him due to the fact that he signed the receipt. 

now my brother signed a receipt, but they never gave him a copy and after waiting in line outside at midnight, it is not unusual for someone to sign and move on without lingering. 

After I brought up this point Kat (the employee) proceeded to accuse my brother of being intoxicated in line (as if that has anything to do with a damn thing) and stated that she can't prove that he only had himself and one other person with him because she can't run the tapes. 

My brother described the woman who charged his card and then Kat stated that no one worked at that business who looked like that and she even boldly questioned if he had actually been to Josephine that night (even though they see his charge!)

she eventually said that it didn't matter cause he signed the receipt and he gave his consent to be charged twice as much.

Kat and her coworker (Amy I believe) were incredibly rude and accusatory over something that could be remedied with a simple refund. 

This business doesn't care that my brother has been trying to get in contact with them and remedy the situation for nearly a week. They don't care their story has changed nearly every time they answered the phone. This business doesn't care that they continued to tell us to call back on a day the establishment is closed, up until the Bank is on the phone to clear up the situation. 

This business would rather accuse a customer of being drunk and having buyers remorse and trying to scam them for a measly $40 dollars. 

A quick google search and a few calls has let me know that this isn't the first time Josephine lounge has over charged their customers and refused to process a refund among other shady business practices.

If you still choose to deal with this business, do so on a cash only basis. If not, check your bank statements ASAP.
