Great restaurant. We really enjoyed the food here. The rice cakes are a must order. The octopus fell a little flat despite ordering it based on a great review of it. The steak was probably the best order. It was their signature short rib steak and it was truly amazing. The greens we ordered with the steak were also money. The cauliflower was just okay. Overall great place for Korean fusion steak. The bar was pretty good to sit at.

Loved the drinks here. Food was really unique and they tasted fine, but a little too strange for me. It's more on the expensive side in terms of quantity/price. Everyone was really nice. I would definitely recommend if you want to try something different. Good for groups. They have an outdoor patio for warmer nights.

Joule was fantastic. We ate family style in a big group and got to sample most of the dishes. Everything tasted amazing and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend the steak tartar and the bone marrow for appetizers. The staff was incredibly helpful and gracious throughout the entire evening. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Seattle.

Over-hyped experience at prices that simply do not represent the quality. Came here for "the great burger." Mediocre at best & way overpriced. Even for a picky meat eater like myself who's used to paying more for quality food. If you require a person to be wearing a suit before you share the respect you show to the other well-dressed customers, maybe you should make the unspoken dress code mandatory! All that's made even worse when you get the bill with non-optional 20% gratuity added. Quality is not what you pay for here. You can get much better tasting & less expensive (by at least $6) Painted Hills Beef burgers at lots of other places around town. This Joule restaurant along with sister restaurant Revel, appear to be operating on what I call the common "Pump & Dump" restaurant model: Food & service are exceptional until the restaurant gathers enough high ratings & reviews to guarantee a steady stream of business for years to come. At this point, they hire less experienced staff, cut corners on ingredients, & raise prices. Don't waste your time/money.

Joule has been one of those place which has been on our list for a really long time. Finally got an opportunity to try it out last week. And it did not disappoint! We ordered a bunch of items and shared it. Chinese broccoli was decent. Crispy eggplant and Black cod had really good flavors. But the pick of the bunch was Spicy rice cake (vegetarian). It was too good! We also had the Sweet Freedom and 35 Stone Buck. I thought the alcohol content in both the drinks was a less. For dessert, we had the Dulcey mousse fudge cake which was pretty good. Had a wonderful time here. I would definitely recommend Joule.
